Important notice: Please note that from 6th of February 2012 personal appearance is mandatory as the biometric data capture process will be implemented. However, we submit applications in the morning on the day of appointment (which is normally next day or day after we received your documents and a payment) while clients need to come to a visa center just for the biometrics (fingerprints) in the afternoon between 1pm - 3pm so no need to wait and queue for the payment and submission of documents, it is done by us in the morning..
1 Two identical ID photos less than 3 months old and meeting one of which must be attached to the application form

2 Short stay visa application form duly completed and signed by the applicant (or the legal guardian for children) in both places provided (fields 36 and 37 AND in the signature box at the bottom of the third page), original Download
3 Passport, original A full national private passport or official travel document valid for at least more than 3 months beyond the validity of the requested visa, with two blank visa pages with the mention “visa” to affix the visa sticker. Should be issued less than 10 years ago.

5 British Residence permit, original Your British Residence permit (stamped in passport or in the form of an identity card) must also exceed by more than 3 months the validity of the requested visa.

6 Proof of financial means of support, original Recent statement of your UK current account or traveller’s cheques. As a guideline, a minimum of €56,20 - i.e. £55 - per day spent in Schengen area per person is required.

7 Hotel booking, copy A reservation confirmation stating your full names, the dates of check-in and out, the hotel address and contact details. Hotel booking should cover the whole period of your stay, in case of multiple trip to different schengen countries.

9 Insurance, original
- The travel insurance should be:
- Valid for Schengen area if you apply for short stay visa
- Valid for France if it's required in the document list and you apply for long stay visa
- Valid for DROM/CTOM according to your itinerary
- The insurance must cover medical fees and repatriation costs of a minimum 30,000 euros
- The insurance coverage should cover the whole period of your stay.

11 If self employed A less than 3 months old letter specifying your professional activity, starting date, revenues from your solicitor, accountant/bank manager/local chamber of commerce and VAT certificate if applicable, original and copy
12 If student Letter from the British school, college, university original A less than 3 months old official up-to-date letter from your school, college or university stating the type of studies, details of course and attendance record.

13 If retired/pensioner/unemployed(Single/Seperated/Divorced/Widow)/ Others No reference letters required. However you can show extra documents as follows.
For retired or pensioner - DWP support letter/receipt, original and copy
For unemployed - Job seekers allowance letter/receipt, original and copy
For others - Govt support receipt/council support receipt/benefit letter, original and copy.

14 If Unemployed (Married):- If your spouse is employed a less than 3 months old letter from your spouse’s employer, original

- If the marriage was celebrated in the UK by a religious authority, the marriage certificate must be paired with an official registration at the General Register Office.

15 For minors (below 18 years old):- Letter from the British school, original

16 If travelling for business/conference: All above documents plus Formal invitation letter from the French company, stating purposes and frequency of the business trip(s). You may request a 'circulation visa' if you can prove your frequent trips to France for professional purposes.

17 For spouses of UK/EU/EEA citizens: Spouse's original British/EU passport and original marriage certificate from the marriage registrar. If your certificate is not in English, French - must be translated by in english/french and certified by your must be certified as a true copy by the Embassy/ Consulate of the country where your marriage was celebrated or by the legalisation bureau of the Foreign Office in GB . Please provide BOTH original certificate (in foreign language) AND original translation. These are the only documents required for this visa - plus passport, 2 photos, visa form and payment along with photocopies (but no bank statement, no tickets/hotel etc.)
Important Note - Please send us all your Original documents + a set of photocopy of all your documents including your passport,UK visa and previous schengen visa. The total fee for visa processing is £165.00. If you are spouse/children of a UK/EU citizen - total fee is £115.
If Express visa is required within 7 days or 7 days before the date of traveling then there is a additional cost of £20. Please note: a visa processing center is an admin center, French Embassy no longer works direct with the public since October 2010.
Annual travel insurance, if you wish to buy from us, is £20.
